Our high efficiency wood burning stoves achieve an efficiency of at least 80%. This means that most of the heat released is transferred into the room. As a result, you need less wood than with other stoves. That is good for your wallet and less demanding on the environment. In the past, wood stoves had an efficiency of around 50%, but thanks to modern technology, today’s stoves achieve much higher performance. In addition, a high efficiency wood stove may emit no more than 40 mg/m³ of particulate matter. A particulate filter is therefore not required. In fact, we advise against using one, as it can reduce the efficiency of a modern wood stove.
Leenders offers a wide collection of stoves with high efficiency. All stoves comfortably meet the EcoDesign 2022 standards and have been tested in accordance with the official EN13240 certification.
