Our Company

Bart Leenders

Eye for detail

For a product to have a long life, the details must be right. Because we build by hand, attention to quality is ingrained in us. We keep smoothing out for as long as it takes to get all details fit for serving the fire.

Simplify

Everything for the fire

To us, fire is what it is all about. Each fireplace has its own individual design, and so creates a unique fire. The more you are using the fireplace the more you will learn to control the fire. We take care of the fireplace ensuring that you will greatly enjoy the fire for a long time to come, the rest is up to you.

Sustainable work

Local cooperation

Our factory is located in the province of North Brabant in Oirschot. It is here where our fireplaces are designed, developed and ultimately assembled.

We have the parts and components made in our region. This was a conscious decision because we think it is important for our suppliers to be located in the vicinity of our factory. This helps spare nature, save time, and strengthens the economy of the beautiful region around Oirschot.

Margriet and Harrie Leenders

Bart Leenders

A wood fire in the outdoors, I enjoy that very much. In the woods or by the waterside. Great! I often realize that making a fire is my métier, and that makes me very happy.
Our stoves are in essence fire-carriers with which we want to bring the fire to the customer.

Simplify

Simplify, simplify, simplify, said writer and adventurer Henry David Thoreau. We take that very much to heart.

Everything for the fire

Sustainable work

As we see it, durability starts with an investment. Like building something good that really lasts a long time. In the things we do, we act consciously. For instance, since 2013 already, our production has been running on solar energy.

Margriet and Harrie Leenders

In 1979, Margriet and Harrie Leenders set up a stove factory, giving it the name of “Harrie Leenders Haardkachels”. Margriet in the show room and Harrie at the back of the factory, welding stoves.

On the left Harrie Leenders is showing the HL3 stove. The Citroën HY in the background was the holiday van of the Leenders family. Harrie had modified the interior so that it could accommodate stoves for transport. As the stoves were sometimes still radiating some heat, it regularly happened that the temperature in the van rose to about 40 ºC.

The family company is now in the hands of their son Bart. His vision on fire and simplification gives the Leenders brand a highly individual content.
